Depression affects over 350 Million people around the world with an estimated 1 in 20 people suffering from Depression annually at any one time.

What is Depression?

Whilst we all experience sadness or feeling flat from time to time, this is typically relatable to a specific event (e.g., job loss, relationship breakdown).  Depression differs from sadness in its relatedness to everything and its intensity. Symptoms of Depression can include:

  • Persistent low mood

  • Erosion of self esteem

  • Excessive guilt

  • Limited motivation

  • Fatigue

  • Sleep disturbance

Treatment for Depression
